On Saturday, August 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Green Country Free Clinic will host an air-conditioned rummage sale at 321 S. Delaware, Bartlesville, OK, 74003.

This location is the site of our future “Green Country Free Dental Clinic”, which we hope to open in the fourth quarter of 2011.

Proceeds from the rummage sale will benefit our free dental clinic.

Bobbie Brown, who is involved with a group of volunteers getting ready for the rummage sale, says it will occupy four rooms, with categories including glassware, electronics, cameras, gadgets, camping gear, linens and more.

“We have one big room that’s going to house most of the furniture,” Bobbie said. She added that very little clothing will be available for sale.

Bobbie hopes rummage sale customers will remember they’re donating to Green Country Free Dental Clinic, but she says our prices will be cheap. Customers can haggle and bargain for a lower price.

At the rummage sale you can tour the 2200 square foot building where the dental clinic will soon operate. In its present form the space lacks dental operatories, the work stations where each dentist sees a patient.

As you’re browsing our rummage sale, perhaps you can imagine how each finished operatory will look, with a patient’s reclining chair, specialized lighting, instrument panels, cabinetry, counters, sinks and other up-to-date dental equipment, all of which is very expensive.

We are most grateful for the rummage sale purchases and donations you make, because these move us a little closer to making the dental clinic a reality.
